Well, I'm well and truly into A215 (my current OU course), and it is shaping up to be very enjoyable. I have signed up to NaNoWriMo, in order to try and churn out that elusive first novel. I am either way too keen, or way too stupid.

After trawling the OU conferences, it seems the hip and happening thing to do is have a blog.  I suppose it is a good idea, as it might encourage me to write a bit more often, and in a different style to my usual rambles.  I am a bloke, who is fast approaching 30.  I try my best to be good, but sometimes being bad just comes natural.  I have a job that affords me a good amount of free time, which is why I have started finishing my degree.  My old man thinks I am becoming middle class, and my wife thinks I am having an early mid life crisis due to my receding hairline, and advancing paunch.  

Such is life.
